Show & Share, Texas Style!

We've had some great quilts for our show and share time after lunch during class, and it is so great to see what the ladies have been up to “behind the scenes” since I last taught here.

Many brought their completed projects started in previous workshops and it is so nice to know these didn’t spend too long of a time in the Time Out box before completion!

And then there is the one crazy person –who brought her COMPLETED Celtic Solstice top to class!

Less than 36 hours since the reveal – she had it done!

This is Robin, and she is from Shreveport, Louisiana!  Take a look at this!

Robin with her Celtic Solstice!

She did the 75” X 75” size – and even better – this quilt is going to Quilts of Valor!  What a great way to start 2014! Thank you, Robin for your efforts!

I’m uploading the rest of our show and share photos to a slide show as they are many!  I hope you enjoy them. If you look closely you’ll see a parade of vintage machines to boot!

The slide show doesn’t include our FIRST DAY because I already showed them HERE.

Click on the image below if you can’t view the slide show on your mobile device.  You’ll be taken to the photo album.

Today we will be playing in the 2.5" strips in a Scrappy Bargello workshop with the Garland Quilt Guild, also hosted at Fabric Fanatics!
Tomorrow I'm moving on to McKinney!

  1. Fantastic quilts the ladies have made. So quick on the draw is the lady who completed the Celtic solstice. Turned out great and for such a good cause too.

  3. My hat is off to Robin for having finished her Celtic Solstice top so quickly. She sure puts me to shame. I'll be happy to have it finished by the end of January so I can get it quilted and on my bed. Looking forward to seeing the scrappy bargello quilts - love that pattern!
